Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef 85% lean
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup low carb marinara sauce purchased or see our Low Carb Marinara Sauce Recipe
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden color.
  • While the meatballs are cooking, heat the low carb marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the marinara sauce and let simmer for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • Serve the meatballs topped with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
