- 1 pound ground beef 85% lean
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup low carb marinara sauce purchased or see our Low Carb Marinara Sauce Recipe
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish optional
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden color.
While the meatballs are cooking, heat the low carb marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the marinara sauce and let simmer for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.
Serve the meatballs topped with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
